Sweeter than the average coconut, these petite coconuts known as Dua Xiem come from Central Vietnam. Each coconut arrives ready to drink or serve—you won’t have to cut them open! Naturally refreshing and healthful, coconut water is a clear liquid found in a young coconut before coconut meat is formed. Coconut water delivers a flavorful energy boost, is low in calories and high in electrolytes.

To open your coconut, remove the sticker and pull back the husk. Feel for the soft spot under the sticker called the eye of the coconut. It’s usually more flexible than the rest of the husk. Push your straw through the coconut eye and enjoy. Coconut water is easy to digest, thirst-quenching, low-calorie and rich in nutrients such as calcium, magnesium, phosphorous, potassium and antioxidants.

Serving suggestions

You will receive six young coconuts in your shipment. Enjoy one a day, offer them as a healthy, exotic treat to your children and their friends, or serve them as an unexpected and interesting drink at a party or barbeque. Once you’ve finished the juice, crack open the center of the coconut and scoop out the tender coconut meat as a special treat.

Storing your young coconuts

Young coconuts arrive fresh and should be enjoyed quickly. They can also be refrigerated and will retain their fresh taste for two weeks or longer.

Your order includes six young coconuts hand-packed into a beautiful Dragonberry gift box. Orders placed from March 10 through April 9 will be shipped young coconuts in mid-April as the first fruit in a 3, 6 or 12 month fruit program.

Standard shipping (3 to 10 days) is included in the package price. There is a shipping surcharge to ship to Hawaii, Alaska, Canada or Puerto Rico. Please see our shipping policies.
